Using slogans that you don't mean or can't relate to is like buying things that you don't need - you have full house of everything-buts

I just realized that I never talk about the things I am concerned the most - 4th, 5th and some out of top 10 usually are my red hot favorites, if I talk at all, of course. Words don't help - they just make things worse? Ok, some paraphrased cheeseable rhyme - but you just don't want to pick the wrong words and wrong talkmates. You just want to make it right on the essential issues - unfortunately it's a skill one needs to practice on - frustration is inevitable.

On flooding

Some people think that the main thing is to keep on talking not being selective about the topic or not considering whether the talk mates are really into the stuff. They find themselves being great in this flooding stuff - anything they say is interesting and everybody's excited about how the storyline unfolds. Another approach is to maintain several topics almost at the time browsing for the most interested faces and once it's found put on the cruise control and keep on rolling.

Speech is silver, silence is gold

Today I wasn't much talkative, nonetheless every single thing I said was quite far from making any sense and at no point I felt like stopping. So I guess our ancestors were right while coming about this idiom - if you began to talk crap, just shut up and don't make the matters worse, what in reality is quite an impossible thing to do just because of the inertia.
